Article 1 – Definitions
Within these General Terms and Conditions, the following terms shall have the meanings set out below:
Withdrawal period:
The period during which the consumer is entitled to exercise the right to withdraw from the agreement.
Consumer:
A natural person acting outside the scope of a professional or commercial activity who enters into a distance agreement with the entrepreneur.
Day:
A calendar day.
Ongoing transaction:
A distance agreement relating to multiple products and/or services where delivery or purchase obligations occur over a defined period.
Durable medium:
Any medium that allows information addressed personally to the consumer or entrepreneur to be stored in a manner that enables future reference and unchanged reproduction.
Right of withdrawal:
The consumer’s legal right to terminate the distance agreement within the withdrawal period.
Entrepreneur:
The natural or legal person offering products and/or services to consumers via distance selling.
Distance agreement:
An agreement concluded within an organized system for remote sales, whereby only distance communication methods are used up to and including the conclusion of the agreement.
Means of distance communication:
Any technology that enables a contract to be concluded without both parties being present in the same physical location.

Article 3 – Applicability
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all offers made by the entrepreneur and to all distance agreements and orders concluded between the entrepreneur and the consumer.
Before a distance agreement is finalized, the consumer will be provided with access to these General Terms and Conditions. If this is not reasonably possible, it will be clearly stated how the terms can be accessed electronically and supplied free of charge upon request.
If supplementary conditions apply to specific products or services, the provision that is most favorable to the consumer shall prevail in the event of conflicting terms.
If any provision of these General Terms and Conditions is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full effect. The invalid provision will be replaced by a clause that most closely reflects the original intent.
By placing an order on the website, the consumer confirms having read, understood, and agreed to these General Terms and Conditions, including policies related to returns, shipping, delivery times, and refunds.
Article 4 – Offers
Offers that are subject to a limited duration or specific conditions will be clearly indicated.
All offers are non-binding. Susan & Dillon reserves the right to amend or withdraw an offer at any time.
Each offer includes a clear description of the products and/or services. Images are intended to accurately represent the products offered; however, minor color variations may occur.
Each offer will specify:

The price, excluding import duties and VAT

Any applicable shipping charges

The method by which the agreement is concluded

Whether the right of withdrawal applies

Available payment, delivery, and execution methods

The period during which the offer remains valid

Article 5 – Conclusion of the Agreement
The agreement is concluded once the consumer accepts the offer and fulfills the stated conditions.
If acceptance is confirmed electronically by the entrepreneur, the consumer may withdraw from the agreement until such confirmation has been received.
Article 6 – Right of Withdrawal
Consumers may return products that are not discounted within 30 days of receipt without providing a reason, provided the item is returned in its original condition and packaging.
Products purchased as part of a Final Sale, defined as items discounted by 40% or more, are excluded from returns, refunds, and exchanges. This exclusion will be clearly stated at the time of purchase.
Article 7 – Costs in Case of Withdrawal
If the right of withdrawal is exercised, the consumer bears the full cost of returning the product directly to Susan & Dillon’s supplier in China.
All amounts paid, including standard shipping costs, will be refunded within 14 days after receipt of the returned item or upon receipt of valid proof of shipment.
Article 8 – Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

Products that cannot be returned for hygienic reasons, such as earrings or lingerie

Products purchased during Final Sale promotions (discounts of 40% or more)
Article 9 – Pricing
Prices stated in offers will not be increased during the stated validity period, unless changes are required by law or regulation.
Article 10 – Compliance and Warranty
Susan & Dillon guarantees that products and services conform to the agreement and meet reasonable standards of quality, usability, and reliability.
Article 11 – Delivery and Fulfillment
Orders are processed with due care and attention.
All orders are shipped directly from overseas fulfillment centers. Estimated delivery times range from 5 to 14 business days. Due to international shipping, customs procedures, or unforeseen circumstances, delivery may take up to a maximum of 30 business days.
Delays occurring within this timeframe do not constitute non-delivery and are not grounds for refunds or chargebacks.
Tracking details are provided for all shipments.
If delivery exceeds the stated timeframe, the consumer will be notified as soon as reasonably possible.
Article 12 – Payment
Unless otherwise agreed, payment must be completed in full at the time of purchase.
All transactions made through Susan & Dillon are subject to the applicable Terms of Service, which govern pricing, payments, and delivery conditions.
Susan & Dillon reserves the right to correct any errors relating to product descriptions, pricing, or availability without prior notice.

Article 14 – Governing Law
The Susan & Dillon website is owned and operated by a company registered in the Netherlands.
All agreements between Susan & Dillon and the consumer are governed by Dutch law.
While Susan & Dillon complies with applicable U.S. consumer protection laws, any disputes shall be governed by Dutch law and resolved by the competent courts in the Netherlands.
Nothing in these Terms limits statutory rights under U.S. federal or state law.
Article 15 – Amendments
Susan & Dillon reserves the right to amend these General Terms and Conditions.
Any changes will be communicated at least 30 days before taking effect.
Article 16 – Shipping and Return Locations
Susan & Dillon cooperates with third-party logistics providers located in China. Orders are therefore shipped from China.
By placing an order, the consumer agrees that shipments originate from overseas fulfillment centers and that approved returns must also be sent to these locations.
Return instructions and the appropriate address will be provided once a return request has been approved.

Article 17 – Customs Duties and Taxes
Any import duties, customs charges, or taxes are the sole responsibility of the customer and do not constitute grounds for refunds, disputes, or chargebacks.
Such costs will not be reimbursed by Susan & Dillon.
Article 18 – Legal Disclaimer
Return and exchange policies may be modified at any time without prior notice. Susan & Dillon retains the right to make the final determination regarding return or exchange eligibility.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights granted under applicable consumer protection legislation. Statutory rights remain fully effective and may vary depending on the customer’s country of residence, including the United States or other jurisdictions.
